Saint-Simon
It is said that Louis de Rouvroy, Duke of Saint-Simon — courtier and brilliant chronicler of life under Louis XIV — had a talent for leaking confidential messages and delicate information without ever arousing suspicion. But we all know how much we love gossip, and how willing we are to take small risks to uncover — and secretly spread — a touch of scandal. The same goes for the animals at court who, with elegance and pomposity, navigate a world ruled by appearances and secrets, juggling intrigues and scandals as they join the courtly dances, where private information may be discreetly exchanged or deliberately concealed.
